This wasn’t just the final year of STEP UP; it was the culmination of a three-year journey, completed thanks to funding from the Waldensian Church, which laid the foundation for structured and lasting growth in both Ghana and Italy.
After nine years in the field, DUNK-grassroots, our operating partner, was able to register the cooperative and, more importantly, offer growth opportunities to current participants and the involvement of new young people from vulnerable communities in Accra. As a final note, the foundation has been laid for launching the project in Italy while maintaining the strong ties with Ghana.
